Leadership Training Tailored for Young Produce & Floral Pros

This program consists of self-paced online courses, interactive virtual open mics and one on one mentoring; delivering participants a foundational understanding of leadership, management, and financial skills. 

Throughout the Management Fundamentals program, participants experience an MBA-level combination of the most relevant concepts for young professionals – all tailored to the needs of the global fresh produce and floral supply chains. This program is presented in collaboration with the University of Arizona. 

Coupled with networking opportunities and a capstone session, the program emphasizes the importance of culture and mindset for growth as an individual and team performance. Participants will learn from highly ranked academics, experienced subject matter experts and their assigned mentor through a mix of on-demand and real time interactions.

Q: What is the right age for someone interested in Management Fundamentals?
A: This program isn’t about age, its about experience. If you are starting off your career and looking to begin your leadership journey, this program is for you. 

Q: Is this in-person or online?
A: 100% online. Courses can be taken at your own pace, and our 3 open mic sessions allow you to connect and network with the other participants.  

Q: What resources do participants have throughout the program?
A: Participants will be able to connect with IFPA staff, University of Arizona Eller Executive Education staff, other participants in the program and a mentor to help provide guidance.
